Connie works mainly in porcelain and produces a line of pottery items including a complete line of dinnerware. Her work is bright and colourful and very reminiscent of South Western design. She also designs and makes a number of large artistic, decorative wall plates. Her brightly glazed and durable pieces are the result of many years of research into glaze chemistry and over a thousand glaze tests. Connie's imagery is very reflective of the world we have around us. She uses common images found in nature as inspiration and starting with simple designs, works them through over and over until they become suitable for use on her pottery and large plates. Connie states that "I've always enjoyed working with clay and the challenge of creating strong design elements in my art. I express this best with the rich glaze colours I have developed, but in the end I really love taking a box of clay and creating finished pieces of pottery that we can use and enjoy in our everyday world". We carry 3 patterns designs of Connie's work.
Bob works in stoneware clay and produces a line of pottery items in a traditional vein using more earth coloured glazes but is most interested in producing his architectural murals. These clay wall sculptures are distinctive in that they are made up of modular pieces and may be disassembled and moved with minimum effort. Bob has a background in sculpture and feels the shape and form say everything about his work and is interested in the presence a piece has. Bob makes large clay decorated lamps, large slab built wall plates and custom tiled fireplaces. Bob states that, "I've always enjoyed making and building things and am thoroughly inspired by the whole process of the creative experience, from the designing of a piece to the finished product".
