Jo-Ann Kohl
Jo-Ann has been making pottery full-time since 1987. She is still fascinated with the endless possibilities of clay. Currently she creates in low-fire clay that allows bright, vibrant colours. She sells these pieces under the studio name of J.A.K. Be Nimble. Her artistic flare is at it's best in these highly decorated, yet functional pieces. Jo-Ann paints mainly flowers, but occasionally branches out into roosters and cows. Jo-Ann's signed pieces are made of stoneware which is a higher fired clay. This type of clay gives a more subtle depth of colour. All her glazes are food-safe and lead-free.
