Myrna Campbell
Myrna has brought to the Galleria two incredible glazes. The smoky gray-blue of her Jasper Blue glaze is subdued, but classic. This colour will adapt well to any decor. The Jasper Green is a vibrant and lively turquoise green, which will suit many collectors that are looking for a way to liven up the dinner table. Myrna first discovered pottery in university in B.C. She took an immediate liking to the craft and after moving to Australia, she spent 10 years studying under the guidance of a master potter. When she came back to Canada, Myrna opened her own studio in Okotoks, where she now lives. Myrna creates a full range of pieces in both glazes, everything from mugs and tea pots to serving pieces and casseroles. All items are great in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Myrna and Jo-Ann Kohl, who is also represented at the Galleria, have opened up a teaching studio called Feats of Clay. Please check out our "Links" page for more information.
