Bruce Vallance
Bruce Vallance makes a living doing something he loves to do. And he’s good at it. He’s been crafting pottery since he was a child in Calgary. He went to university in Victoria and taught for ten years. But then he came back to pottery full time and created a long-term, successful business. Bruce works with his son David and partner, Myrna Brown. Myrna graduated from the Nova Scotia School of Art and Design and is considered by Bruce to be the essential factor to running the business. David, 20, has been in the studio with his Dad his entire life. He’s been making pottery with Bruce for almost three years and is a continual source of ideas and perspective. He’s also good company for Bruce.
